Please be on time.  Doors will close 5 minutes prior to the start of Mass or capacity (1100) has been reached.

Church doors are opened only during Confession and Mass times, unless you have an appointment scheduled.  The gates at the Shrine closes at 3:00pm Monday-Friday (unless it’s a Holy Day of Obligation). And closes on Saturday and Sunday at the end of the last scheduled Mass.

2021 HOLY DAYS OF OBLIGATION:

Mass times are the same as Sunday Holy Days of Obligation vary from year to year, because of the precept to attend Mass is abrogated if any of the following days falls on a Saturday or on a Monday.  The faithful, however, are encouraged to attend Mass on those days. Holy Days of Obligation Mass times are the same as our Sunday Mass times:
  • 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM (all in English)
  • 6:00 PM in Spanish
As we are not a Parish, we do not have a Vigil Mass with the exception of Christmas and Holy Week Friday, January 1, 2021 – Solemnity of Mary, Holy Mother of God (this is a Holy Day of Obligation) Thursday, May 13, 2021 – Ascension of the lord (this is not a Holy Day of Obligation) Sunday, May 16th, 2021 – Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord (this is a Holy Day of Obligation) Sunday, August 15, 2021 – The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (this is a Holy Day of Obligation) Monday, November 1, 2021 – All Saints Day (not a Holy Day of Obligation) Wednesday, December 8, 2021 – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (this is a Holy Day of Obligation) Saturday, December 25, 2021 – Nativity of the Lord (this is a Holy Day of Obligation)

UPDATE: 24 MAY 2021

The latest protocols received from the Diocese Restoration Advisory Council effective May 18, 2021:  “With the exception of our schools and Catholic Charities, anyone who is fully vaccinated is no longer required to wear a mask on Diocesan properties.  The verification of vaccinations will be based solely on the honor system The Council encourages the continued wearing of masks for those who remain medically vulnerable.  The wearing or not of a mask is a personal decision that we will respect.”  The Shrine will abide by these guidelines and continue the 3” feet physical distancing until further advised.

Mass attendance continues on a first come, first served basis. The church doors will open half an hour before the start of our Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses.  For the 12:10pm daily Mass, the doors will open after Confession is over.  Once Mass starts or safe seating capacity has been reached, the church central doors will be closed. The left side door will remain open for latecomers and will CLOSE at the start of the singing of the “Alleluia” for the proclamation of our day’s GOSPEL.

Due to time limitations, reservations are required for Confession.   To reserve your confession date, please call 702.891.8600 and press 0. If no one answers, please leave your first name, a contact number, and the date you want to reserve.  Your call will be returned within 24 hours.  Office hours during the pandemic is Monday thru Friday from 11 am to 3 pm and after each weekend Mass.
