Statement from Las Vegas Archbishop George Leo Thomas

The Archdiocese of Las Vegas is committed to upholding the dignity and respect of all individuals, and we discourage any efforts that indiscriminately target our faith communities, whether these actions occur in workplaces or places of worship. Across the Country, the Catholic Church is prepared to work with the Trump administration to address the complexities of immigration, and we hope that any enforcement measures are judiciously applied and limited to individuals who present risks and dangers to society, particularly reducing gang activity, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.
La Arquidiócesis de Las Vegas está comprometida con la defensa de la dignidad y el respeto de todas las personas, y desalentamos cualquier esfuerzo que tenga como objetivo indiscriminado a nuestras comunidades religiosas, ya sea que estas acciones ocurran en lugares de trabajo o de culto. Parishioners wishing to participate in the Jubilee Mass for Married Couples on Saturday, January 31, 2026 must submit the attached registration form along with a copy of your Catholic marriage certificate or written attestation from the Catholic parish where your marriage or convalidation took place. Submit to RSVP@adolv.org or mail to 336 Cathedral Way, Las Vegas, NV 89109. All documents must be submitted in order to receive your Certificate.
